Get Rich Slow for Supplemental Retirement Income

I call this strategy “Get Rich Slow” because, like the turtle it will slowly overtake the others in the race and generate a good source of supplemental retirement income. Almost anybody can do it, but for some reason, few will even try. This, in spite of the fact that it will take only a few hours and a few dollars to try it out. You will only need an internet connection. Don’t waste your money on “Get Rich Quick” schemes before trying this method.

There are only a few steps to success in the “Get Rich Slow” method. Here they are:

1. Select a topic or niche that particularly interests you. It must have a good population of interested people, interested in the topic and with money to spend.

2. Research Keywords specific to that topic or niche.

3. Get a domain name and hosting site

4. Develop a ‘Special Report’ of interest to those of your selected niche

5. Develop a one page website for your domain and build it to capture and store the email addresses of visitors. Here you will give visitors a copy of your Special Report in exchange for their email address.

6. Setup a blog and write an article about your selected topic each day – to drive traffic to your site.

With constantly new blog entries every day, your blog will generate significant amounts of traffic to your website and you will capture a list of visitors. While this is going on, write an e-book about your selected topic. When your book is complete and edited, send out an email message to your accumulated list and offer to sell your book for $14.95 or so. Your targeted list continues to grow.

Next, locate an ‘expert’ in your selected topic and tape record an interview with them. Record that interview to a CD, print up a nice cover and sell it to your list for $17.95. Next, create a ‘How-To’ home study program on your selected topic and sell that to your list for $149. Your list continues to grow.

Next build a website that includes a page to display and describe all of your products. While you are doing this, of course, your list continues to grow! Now reintroduce your list to all of your family of products. Some people who didn’t buy a certain product on the first offer may do so now that they are more familiar with your material.

Next, put together a teleseminar and invite your list to attend (Investment: $25). Of course, there will be many of your product references in your teleseminar on your favorite subject and you will sell more products as a result. Your list continues to grow. Send out a survey to your list to ask them which aspects of the subject are most interesting to them. When the survey results are in, build a book, CD, Video or other informational product(s) based on survey feedback. Meanwhile, of course, your targeted list continues to grow.
