Retirement Wealth Requires A Vision

When I get into discussions with friends, prospects and customers about my business, one of the first questions they ask is HOW do you get rich online. I give them an unexpected answer. You need a vision…which usually results in a blank stare.

While that isn’t the answer they expected to hear, it IS the first part of the solution. Essentially, I am easing them into the discussion because the answer, while common sense, isn’t what they expect.

Here’s the problem. Most people, I believe, want that magic carpet ride that will take them from rags to riches. They want that next “get rich quick” scheme (the one that will ACTUALLY work). They want to wake up tomorrow “wealthy” – whatever that is. But don’t know what that IS, really,

To get rich and stay rich with an online you need 5 fundamental action steps and the first is VISION.

Let’s say you want to go somewhere and you ask me for the car keys. You are really antsy to go and want to start right away and get there quick. So, I give you the keys, you start the car and put it in drive.

Let me ask you a question – so, where are you going?

You tell me you’ll know when you get there and you drive off.

But then you see an interesting store and stop in. Later you see a cute neighborhood and drive down those streets.

Ultimately, you never get where you wanted to go and end up frustrated and tired and, worse, disillusioned.

Why?

Because you didn’t KNOW where you wanted to go to begin with. That’s what vision gives you. That is why it is key to your success.

You need to decide (create a vision) of what you want to achieve and what it will look like when you arrive. You need a vision to measure your success against. You need a vision to say that this is what you want your life to look like – that will make you happy.

A vision gives you:

1. A specific target to shoot for. What are you about, what do you want your life to look like when you get there? What will you be DOING?
2. A way to stay motivated to work on your vision to take steps to achieve it. If you know what you want your life to look like when you get there, THAT is the big carrot dangling in front of you that motivates you to keep after it until you win.
3. A filter. There is so much information and “noise” that if you don’t have a good way to filter out data that isn’t going to help you achieve your vision then you’ll be saturated by all the stuff around you and never sure of exactly what you really do need to retire rich.

Vision is the first key step you need to take to achieve and keep retirement riches.
