Retirement Is Not The End – 3 Ways You Can Grow Through Writing

I remember the day I retired. After 32 years with the Phone company. I though I was finally free! After working in various administrative positions I was set to start living on my terms and doing the things I wanted. For the first couple of months I went out to breakfast and lunch with my friends and traveled locally. What I did not plan on was my husband having some medical issues and that creating a financial burden on us.

I was also getting quite Bored. I was not growing as a person. So I looked around for some part time work to do. I found that most of the jobs that I was looking for were back in the administrative area and I could just not go back to that. I also found that I wanted to work at home and not have to travel to a job. I looked at ads in the news paper and on my daughters computer and I found something I did not expect. A couple of men were teaching how to write, but not only write creatively but write to develop myself both Personally and Financially.

You see as I began to write each day it brought about reflection of my life. I was able to draw on my experiences and develop a relationship and following with a group. I started writing about all sorts of things. But the greatest part of this is that not only was this all Free to do, I was writing on the internet and people were reading my articles. So there were Three (3 ) areas that my writing helped me with:

1) Social – I became a published Author and am asked to speak at events
2) Personal Development – Self Reflections has brought about huge changes in my life
3) Financial – As I began to write and build a group of people that read my articles I was paid to speak and paid to recommend products. This brought about a financial freedom I did not expect.

The great thing about all of this, is that it is easy and you can do it too it is Free.
